About the speaker
Burton is an artist and designer living in San Francisco, California. In a career spanning more than 20 years, he has explored and enjoyed a range of disciplines, from UX leadership, creative direction and interaction design to photography, data visualization and film. He has worked at a startup, spent seven years at IDEO as Principal Designer and another five at Google as UX Design Lead. He creates unintentionally moody images that can be found in publications around the world and regularly lectures on the hardest truths to reach both in and out of the workplace.
